It is water resistant, but not waterproof. I fit 4 small tires in there when I moved to the coast. I'm not sure if I still have the rubber nonslip mat for under the bag, but you can get that stuff at the dollar store. It has been used twice when moving in a small car, but now I have an SUV. Great for camping when you have a car, or moving. When I needed to waterproof it a bit more to put clothes in, I wrapped and tied a tarp around it. It is in Chemainus but I could also meet you in Ladysmith or Duncan.
